I’m turning 29 next month, and I feel like I’m standing on the edge of an abyss, peering down into the darkness at the endless expanse of the rest of my life, and it’s old and gray and wrinkly. There’s a lot of knitting going on, too. And it kind of smells like sour cream. Sorry for the depressing visual, but I’ve been having a bit of a mental crisis the past year regarding the oncoming turn of the decade.
They may have been crazy and wrought with ups and downs, but at the end of the day, I really, really want to stay in my 20s. I mean, what’s so great about 30? (Please, tell me, because I need something to look forward to).
Anyway, to calm the growing anxiety that is my last year of my 20’s, I’ve decided to create a bucket list of things to do and experience before the big 3-0.

Or… let the Tesla test-drive me? -

Two words: Ikea Day
Sooooooon. -
Sip cocktails on a rooftop bar
So many pretty lights 🙂 -
Participate in a peaceful protest
Specifically, for science. -
See something ancient
I’m not saying aliens… but aliens. -
Start growing coffee plants
They’re so pretty 🙂 -
Try kickboxing
Apparently Santa also does it? -
Go on a scavenger hunt
Gotta find that pie… -
Find a secret speakeasy
-
Meditate for an entire day

I shall decrypt the most ancient of texts!!
So now that it’s set in digital stone, I guess I should probably post updates whenever I check off one of my items. The pressure is on!
If you have any suggestions, questions, or concerns about my bucket list, feel free to comment below 🙂

If you want to see something ancient, come to CT and visit us! 🙂 As for turning 30, speaking from the far side of the 60s, we wouldn’t mind seeing the 30s again. Have fun checking off your bucket list items. By the way, aerial yoga looks like fun! And so does the ET highway. Love, Linda and Ralph
Haha thank you!!
