I’ve been struggling with a lovely little bout of writer’s block this past week or so. It really hasn’t been pretty, and I’m not sure I’m seeing much of a light at the end of the tunnel.
So I decided to revamp my blog and make it more website-y without paying hundreds of dollars. That took up a couple of days, and now I’m back in the same cavern of muselessness (just one dropped “m” away from uselessness! Yay!).
It’s not like I haven’t throughly outlined this latest book.* Plots and subplots are thoroughly hashed out, each character has an arc, scenes have rising and falling action and chapter breaks (hopefully) leave readers on the edge of their seats. But for some reason, I just can’t seem to put enough words down on the page. Maybe there’s a lull in the story that I need to get rid of, or maybe I can just blame my new, adorable dog.
Anyway, whatever the reason, here I am blogging instead of writing. So I figured I might as well share one of my favorite Pinterest finds with my beautiful readers:
Some of you may know by now that my love for the Whedon runs deep. One of my goals in life is to write a story half as genius as his worst, so I take this list quite seriously (especially #1 😉 )
